THE OFFPISTE COURSE, T-LEARNING
Fundamentals to prevent accidents in the mountain and manage avalanche risk.

From beginners to expert riders (the FWT riders have to pass this certificate), WEMountain and Nuyama developed a 2-part method consisting in:
- An online course: the “E-Learning” part for the theory.
- And a training day on the skis with a professional mountain guide and/or ski instructor to certified your abilities (Backcountry or Offpiste courses).
After completing your full certificate (the E-learning and T-learning), WEMoutain will allow you to benefit from advantages from partners aware, like us, that educating our community of skiers and snowboarders will save life!

When you purchase both courses (E-learning + T-learning) and thanks to our partner promo code, you will get a 20% discount on the E-Learning course.
Once completing your e-learning certificate, let’s sign up for your T-learning with our team of professional guide and ski instructors.
While skiing, (because yes, we will ski!), we will sum up and review notions learned in the E-Learning course and use them on the slopes. We will focus on the first part AVOID because, according to us, it is the most important, and also on the RESCUE section.
Supervised by a mountain professional, guide or ski instructor, you will get your full certificate like all the FWT riders!
Two courses are available:
A typical day:
08h30: Meeting and briefing
09h00: Let’s go on the slopes
09h00/12h00: AVOID section
12h00/13h00: Lunch / Picnic lunch
13h00/15h30: REACT & RESCUE sections
15h30/16h00: Debriefing / questions
The exact meeting point will be confirmed after your subscription and can eventually change according to weather and snow conditions.
Take your usual equipment, at least avalanche victim detector (AVD), shovel and probe. (Rental option: 30€ per pack per person).
For lunch, bring a picnic if you want. We can also stop on the slopes to buy a sandwich and/or a drink.
At the end of the day, your instructor will deliver you – normally – your complete WEMountain certificate allowing you to access the partner offers.
