Immersive day on the Mer de Glace followed by a Hike & Dine experience:

We designed a complete, immersive experience for our client, combining scientific discovery, glacier adventure and local immersion.

The day started with an ascent by train to Montenvers and a guided visit of the site with glaciologists, to understand issues linked to climate evolution. After lunch facing the summits at the famous Montenvers refuge, participants took part in three glacier workshops: abseiling descent and walking in the heart of the glacier, ice climbing and avalanche transceiver searches — a true cohesion experience in an alpine environment!

The day ended in Vallorcine with a twilight snowshoe hike, followed by a Savoyard dinner in a traditional restaurant, before a private return to the hotel.

We organized an immersive day in the mountains combining nature, typical Savoyard meal and team cohesion. After gearing up, participants ascent to La Flégère for a snowshoe hike at altitude, enjoying a spectacular panorama under a beautifully clear sky.

Lunch took place at the altitude restaurant L’Adret around a convivial “boîte chaude”, a local alpine specialty.

The afternoon becomes a real collective challenge through outdoor workshops: zip-lining, roped progression on an obstacle course, orienteering challenges and introduction to avalanche rescue (transceiver search and stretcher creation). A dynamic experience promoting mutual help, communication and collective achievement.

The day concludes with a gondola descent and a transfer back to Chamonix.

Nuyama introduced us to the Mont Blanc massif, the Mer de Glace and the many winter mountain activities in an exceptional way during these team-building days. Last year, we had the opportunity to try ice climbing on the Mer de Glace with ice axes and crampons, followed by lunch facing the Drus. This year, we discovered the massif on snowshoes and took part in workshops to learn how to use avalanche transceivers (DVA), rope travel techniques, zip lines, and more. The whole team was thrilled by these unique activities, which helped us better understand the mountains, their beauty and the many experiences they offer. Nuyama is a team of passionate people who truly know how to share their love for the mountains and inspire others to discover them. Thank you all, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

VTT Chamonix - Nuyama.

Day 1 – Aiguille du Midi

Participants were welcomed in Chamonix before ascending by cable car to the Aiguille du Midi for a private guided visit at 3,842m. As they explored the panoramic terraces and admired the Mont-Blanc massif through viewing scopes, guests fully grasped the grandeur of the surroundings. The experience continued with an exceptional aperitif at the Le 3848 restaurant, overlooking the peaks, before descending by cable car back to Chamonix to conclude this unforgettable high-altitude interlude.

Day 2 – Alpine Discovery by Electric Mountain Bike

Participants departed by train from Chamonix to Le Buet, where they collected their electric mountain bikes and met our instructors for a briefing. They then set off on a guided ride along alpine trails, arriving at an outdoor gourmet buffet in Le Tour, before returning by bike to Chamonix to conclude this active and convivial adventure.

Upon arrival, participants were warmly welcomed by our team of 20 professional guides, ready to support them throughout the experience. After forming teams, a dynamic briefing set the stage the workshops and officially launched the challenge.

Throughout the event, teams rotated through a series of activities designed to strengthen collaboration, communication, and mutual support:

  • Avalanche transceiver search challenge : testing navigation skills, responsiveness, and decision-making under pressure;
  • Roped teamwork courses : requiring participants to progress together in perfect coordination;
  • Stretcher challenge : a strategic and collaborative exercise combining planning, efficiency, and team spirit.

Each activity was designed as an engaging challenge, creating a motivating and energizing atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

The experience concluded with a convivial outdoor gathering featuring hot drinks and gourmet snacks, where scores were revealed and achievements celebrated in a relaxed, friendly setting.

By the end of the afternoon, participants departed by coach enriched by a powerful shared experience — one marked by personal achievement, strenghtened connections, and enhanced team cohesion.
